World climates

In the class of em we search for information of diferents aspects about diferents types of worlds cimates and whith that information we did a summary about the worlds climates.

Summary:

In the world there are many climates with different features and aspects. Here I will explain the monsoon, cold climate, hot deserts, savannah, equatorial and tundra. I will talk about their location, temperature, precipitation, season variations, special features and their Wladimir Koppen's classification.

The monsoon is Find in tropical areas with a distinct  dry season.  Examples part of India, Bangladesh, South east Asia, China, South Central Africa, the West Indies, Central and South America and Australia. Monsoon climate experiences warm temperatures throughout the year. The annual amount of precipitation is quite similar to the one of the rain forest, monsoon precipitation is concentrated into the high-sun season. It has a dry season and wet season. The Monsoon is a seasonal change in wind direction. Wladimir Koppen classification is Group A

Cold climate Is located in the polar circules at the polar circles  (90 degrees N and S) and the zones with elevated altitude. It has Long winters and very short summers . These climates have an average temperature above 10 °C in their warmest months, and a coldest month average below −3 °C. The cold temperate climate has a lot of precipitation throughout the year and fewer extremes of hot and cold.. We can classify about 48 percent of the northern hemisphere’s total landmass as a cold region due to the influence and extent of air temperatures.  Vladimir Koppen classification is group E.

Hot desert’s locations are Australia, Arabian Peninsula, Mexico/S.W. USA, S.W. África, S.W. USA, Argentina, South America, North Africa, S.W. USA, Mexico, India, Pakistan, China, Mongolia, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, W. China.r There is no seasonal variation but in the morning is very hot and in the night is very cold. During the day the temperature may reach 50°C, when at night it may fall to below 0°C.  Hot desert usually have very little rainfall and/or concentrated rainfall in short periods between long rainless periods. This averages out to under 15 cm a yea In desserts. The vegetation does not grow very tall so the desert biome can only accommodate small animals, rodents, and reptiles. InVladimir  Koppen classification is group B

Savannah’s location is South America. Mexico, Australia, India Tailandia, Africa. The savanna climate has a temperature range of 68° to 86° F.
There is an annual precipitation of 100 to 150 cm of rain.). In a Savanna the temperature does not change a lot. In the winter, it is usually about 68° to 78° F (20° - 25° C). In the summer the temperature ranges from 78° to 86° F (25° - 30° C. The savanna biome is mostly made up of grass but there are a few trees. In Vladimir Koppen classification is Group B

Equatorial is located The Amazon Basin (South America), the Congo Basin (Africa), Malaysia, Indonesia and some areas in northern Australia.  Thus, at any given time during summer or winter, one part of the planet is more directly exposed to the rays of the Su. Tropical rainforests have no summer or winter. Usually the temperature of the equatorial is 30ºC during the day and 23ºC at night. Average precipitations rates are around 2000 per year. It deviates by an angle of approximately 23.5 degrees.. In Vladimir Koppen classification is group A

Tundra is located in Cold regions include arctic and subarctic areas and areas immediately adjoining them. You can classify about 48 percent of the northern hemisphere’s total landmass as a cold region due to the influence and extent of air temperatures. The average temperature rises above 0°C for at least one month in the year but none experience averages higher than 10°C. In Point Barrow, the majority of the precipitation is in the summer, especially in July. Coastal tundra areas often have greater precipitation in August. However, some tundra areas in Norway actually have the opposite pattern, with the most precipitation in February and March.
Winters are very long and summers very short. Is Extremely cold climate, Low biotic diversity and Simple vegetation. In Vladimir koppen classification is Group E.
