Less cars!

In the writimg class we are learning to write essays so, we write one about how to encourage people to stop using their cars.

Nowadays in the city there are more and more private cars. The majority of people use their cars all the time. Using them generates lot of. In this essay I will explain teo methods to discourage the use of private cars in the city, these methods are Investment and education.

On one hand, there us investment. One option is to improve or build new bike lanes, If they are in better comdition it will be easier for people to comute. Another option is to improve the public transport, these should be faster, more comfortable and cheaper so that people want to use them instead of cars.

On the other hand, education can be very effective. This is a key method due to the fact that If you teach your children to use public transport instead of cars when they grow up they will do it naturally. So in the future, there will be a whole new generation that will choose another option of transport instead of private cars all the time, as we do. In addition, kids should learn in school about the environmental damage that cars cause, the pollution, the air and land pollution and the health problems that this pollution cause on us. By knowing that, they will prefer public transports.

As a conclusion, governments should take into account these two methods, In particular education. If this is done, people little by little will stop using private cars. In my opinion, the government should use these methods since they are very effective in changing people's routine and it will be better for us and the environment

Travelling by plane

Did you know that planes are one of the most used and safe means of transport? Now it is possible to fly from one place to another. We can also fly to space. Is it better to travel by plane?

Although planes there are some disadvantages to travelling by plane, some of the advantages are that it is faster than travelling by car or boat, it is safer, you have someone who attends you the hole jouney, there is a bathroom and it is biggen than a car so you can walk around.

However; there are many disadvantages to travelling by plane. It is more expensive, you can feel trapped, your ears can hurt and although it is safer, if the plane falls down you may die

To sum up travelling by plane has its advantages and disadvantages. But we believe it is better than travelling by car or boat as there are less accidents, and the journey is shorter.

Literary Essay

In the class of L/L Writing we were asked to write a literary essay in a group of two, explaining the themes, simbolysm, etc, of the book: The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. here is my literary essay:

                       The Strage Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

"The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", written by Robert Louis Stevenson is about a doctor called Henry Jekyll that is interested in double personality, so he creates a potion with the objetive to separate them, and Mr. Hyde emerge, this one is hs dark side, who makes hm commit suicide . The essay will explain some themes, the duality of human nature, the importanca of reputation, and violence.

In conection to the duality of human nature Jekyll claims, "man is not truly one but truly two." this represents Jekyll thoughts, people had a bad and a good side, a devil and an angel. In this case, his good part is the dominant part. However, he has bad desires but he dos not fullfill them because he is a prestigious man of Victorian times. With the potion he separates his two sides in different people, emerge Hyde, troglyodite,  hairy, he takes Jekyll until he died.

A situation of the story that explain the important of reputation is when the narrator describes utterson 

"Mr. Utterson the lawyer was a man of rugged contenance that was never lighted by a smile, cold, scanty and embarrassed in discourse, backward in sentiment, lean, long, dusty, dresry and yet somehow lovable". This represents that in Victorian era reputation was very important, people like Utterson have good reputation and avoid gossipin when he is suspicious of Jekyll of being blackmailed and then of sheltering Hyde from the police, and he does not told anyone to preserv Jekyll`s reputation 

An example of violence is " well sir the two run into one another naturally enough at the corner, and then came the horrible part of the thing, from the man trampled calmly over the childs body and left her screaming on the ground" Most of the violence scenes Hyde is the guilty and the victims are innocent people, for example when hyde hurts the girl, or when he kills Mr. Carew. Hyde’s finals victims are both, himself and Jekyll in the moment in wich he commit suicide, so neither victims are innocent crearly Hyde is guilty of many crimes and Jekyll is guilty because he creates Hyde and let him free.

For a conclusion I can say that in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the author explains how a prestigious doctor can become in a horrible person. This book makes me realise the power of ambition, for example, this doctor is always interested in duality of human nature and his ambition is to separate the human soul, and because of that ambition he becomes in a horrible person

P &P Marriage
On October, 4th 2014, Paula Chavez, the tv presenter of EEES and Pedro Alfonso, one of showmatch participants, got married. The celebration took place in a church in Belgrano and they had a beautiful party in Tigre.
Paula´s and Peter´s colleagues atended the wedding and there were 300 other guests also. Paula´s  wedding dress was designed by Gabriel Lage. She had a simple hairstyle and make up.
The couple chose that date because Peter liked the idea of having the celebration the same day as his mother´s birthday. They created their own vows about their love story. Peter´s jacket was designed by Silla Argentino.
Guests enjoyed the wedding to the full, the food was mouthwatering and the guests looked gorgeous. Nevertheless, after the party, people who had not been invited showed their discomfort in the media.

summary of the butterfly effect

Evan, a child that has lost some moments in his life because an illness, had a dificult childhood because of terrifying events that involved his friends kayleigh, lenny and tommy and he could not remember

During his childhood he had a diary where he wrote all details of his life. When he grew up and went in the college he read one of his journals and inexplicably he went to his own past, remembering those crucial moments that he had forgoten. He realized that he could return to his own past and change his friends and his own life, particulary with keyleigh, his first love.

Evan travel back in time and tried to change things, but when he changed something, when he return he had a different life. That change had unexpected and disastrous consequences. When trying to change something to have a happy life with kayleight, he made his life worse.

This happens until he stops writing those diaries because people thought that he was crazy. So, one day, he watched some old movies of his childhood and everything changed. Having changed that, he never got to meet his friends, and those horribles things never took place. This strange illness in his head was called the butterfly effect, and it was hereditary.

The butterfly effect, written and directed by Eric Bress and J.Mackye Gruber is an amusing science fiction thriller that takes place in the United States. The film tells the story of a man whose name is Evan Trevor who suffers from an odd illness called Butterfly effect.

When Evan was a child, he was depressed and he had a hard life until the momento he turns 20 years old and he discovers that he has the ability to travel back to his own past. In the past, he changes things with the aim of changing his friends traumas during their childhood but there are awful consequences for all of them.

The film is rather confusing, but it is moving. It has an unexpected ending. The script is exciting because you never know what is going to happen next.
I highly recommend it because It is a different story that connects this film, the evil of the world and science fiction.

The life change

Ella was a rebellious girl, she did what she wanted and she didn'tobey anyone, so her parents decided to change her to a boarding school. Her parents looked for information about this school and It seemed good, so they obliged Ella to travel and finally she did it. The school was filthy, dark, all students were afraid. One man took Ella and carried her to a cramped office, there was an odd man that said "you will never get out of here in your life" ok? "Where am I? This isn'tthe school of the picture of your web site" asked Ella "No, of course no It isn't the school, here you will work in my factory, hahahaha and your parents will pay me hahahaha" said the man  "who are you? Asked ella "Elliot, as from now, your boss. Take her with the others Mark", ordered Elliot  "nonono, police! Police!" She shouted, Mark guided Ella to a shabby classroom, there were children of her age " what are you doing here? We have to escape quicly , said ella " we can't escape, Elliot will hit all of us" repeated all the children four times, After 2 days working and working. Ella exploded and started shouting like a crazy girl, until one kid whispered to her "shut ur, Mark will come and will hit all of us because of you" "ohh sorry, but I wanted to escape, call the police and go out of here now!" Answered ella crying and shouting. Suddenly, mark entered and took Ella and Thoms but Ella shouted" run run run! So they run along the corridor and broke the door, but mark took thomas of the hair "go on and call the police" shouted thomas but Ella hit mark with a branch abd they continued running until they arrived at the police station and explained that the school doesn't exist, there Elliot and Mark oblige children to work so the police went to that place, and took them into prision. They called all the parents of all the children but Ella escaped with thomas because she did not want to live with the people that send her to that place, and thoma's parents were dead so without thinking, they took the first trainthat was in the station and went to live their lives as they wanted without a dark figure of authority that could make their lives sad or gloomy. Their destination was Mexico and they went with out any money to that place. Now they are married with two sons. One day Ella's parents found her but she ordered them to go away of her house shouting and crying without giving any explanation. She felt that her parents were guilty of all the suffering that she had suffer, that was the last time she ever saw them

In the class of Literature we read the book, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde so we did a activity about 2 diery entries the first when Dr Jekyll created the potion and the second when he drank the potion.

Dear diary, 

Today was a great day, It was exellen, I created a potion, I had to do alot of experiments but, the result was fantastic. Imixed the ingredients. I went fourty times to do the laboratory of my friends. I spent a lot of times to the laboratory of my friend. I spent a lot of time there waiting. My butler was worried about me, It was like an illness , I had one objective, only one, to create a potion that divides you, in "you" and your " bad half ". This potion exactly turns you into another person, your bad half, this was my objective and finally I did it. I created it. I think all the samples are good. It is perfec, the potion will work, I did all the steps correctly, I created the potion, It will work, It has to work. All the ingredients are okey, their quantity is correct, I created and odd potion an incredible potion that turns you into another person. Tomorrow, I will drink the potion and everything will work.

Dear diary,

Today I tried out the potion, and It works, the effect of the potion was incredible, I felt that I died and I born again. I had felings that i had never had before my body started changing, my face looked deformed, I was horrible, but on the other hand, It was amazing to turn into another person, a bad person. I can't control myself. I am a machine of destruction, I want to destroy everything, kill everybody. It is my "bad half". All the things that i didn't do, when I was ME, I am doing them now. It is unbelievable, I want to drink and drink the potion, I want to be bad, I am like an addicted. I want to be my other half all the time it is exiting. I am the first person who turned i to another person I deserv a statue but I have to hide myself from people they will want to get the potion but no, It is only mine, tomorrow I will drink my potion and I will enjoy it.

Miami is a modern city, located in E.E.U.U, the south of Florida, surronding Miami river between everglades and atlantic ocean. It was foundated in 1805, the population is of abut 408,568 inhabitants

In Miami there are many enormous shoppings where you can see and buy alot of clothes, cheap or expensive. Miami also has lots of lights and buildings, and it is a very clean city, there are large green spaces for playing or having some picnics

The bad points about Miami are that if you are less than 21 years, there is not much you can do because many of the things that you can do are mostly at night and for people over 21 years

In Miami you can do many things for example during the day you can go to the beach, to the zoo, to the seaquarium, to the museum, to the shopping centre and many more things!, and during the night obviously go dancing

As  conclucion, Miami is a good place to go, if you have the opportunity to travel i rcommend you to go. It is an interesting, beautifull and modern place
